UPHCS – Urban Primary Health Care Services

This programme was initiated in 1985 -86.

Presently it is being implemented in 50 ULBs.

Formerly CUDP, IPP- VIII and extension , RCH subproject and CSIP have been converged under one umbrella of UPHCS.

The programme is meant to provide basic health care service to the urban population.

The programme is funded by Dept of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs.
